Investigation continues into suspicious death of Gin Gin man

 POLICE are appealing for information from the public to help solve the suspicious death of elderly man John Dive, at a large rural property at Moolboolamin via Gin Gin on December 31, 2011.

Police would like to speak to any one who was an associate of Mr Dive or who may be able to assist with their inquiries in relation to this investigation.

  Officer in Charge of Bundaberg Criminal Investigation Branch, Detective Senior Sergeant Joe Hildred, is urging anyone who may have knowledge of Mr Dive's last movements leading up to his death (prior to New Years Eve 2011) to come forward and contact Bundaberg CIB on 4153 9066.

  Police confirm a number of people have been interviewed regarding this investigation.

  "Detectives have worked tirelessly on this case and are confident of solving this investigation," he said.
