Infection sends Digby to the doctor

WINGER Digby Ioane will visit the Queensland Reds doctor tomorrow to try to get to the bottom of a chest infection that ruled him out of Friday night's match against the Rebels, just hours before kick-off in Melbourne.

His replacement, 18-year-old flyer Chris F'Sautia, had a mixed night.

He scored a try in the 32-17 win, but unfortunately injured the AC joint in his shoulder.

Scans today will reveal the extent of the damage.

The Super Rugby defending champions - presently sitting in seventh place overall - take on the Highlanders in Brisbane on Friday night.

The Reds can jump into the top six if they win and the fifth-placed Crusaders lose to the Chiefs.
