Truckie's plea for help after rig stolen

A WARWICK truckie has had his livelihood stolen, when thieves made off with his 1985 Atkinson truck (pictured above).

The vehicle was parked at Parmalat's Richlands depot when it was reportedly stolen at 1.15am on Sunday morning, October 18.

It's owner Bevan Bird, said the truck was his only means of earning money.

He said CCTV cameras at Parmalat had apparently captured the theft and police were investigating.

The truck is a white cab-over model with red chassis and mudguards.

Its registration plate is 032 GQK. It was towing a 43ft blue Tautliner trailer, with a white back and front when it was taken.

Phone Bevan on 0427 038 429 or Policelink on 131 444.
