Power restored following Camira blackout

UPDATE 10AM: Energex has advised that power has now been fully restored to all homes affected by this morning's power outage at Camira.

EARLIER: More than 900 residents were without power this morning following an outage at Camira.

Two Energex crews are working on overhead equipment near the intersection of Old Logan Rd and Lacey St this morning.

An Energex spokesman says the outage was first reported about 3am, with 920 residents affected.

Power was restored to about two thirds of those households and businesses by 4.30am, but 241 customers are still without power supply this morning.

Police say traffic lights were also affected on Old Logan Rd.

The QT is monitoring the situation and will advise of updates.
