How to put an end to alcohol-fueled violence

Dear How Do I: Business?

I run a pub near Tweed and I have to admit, I'm a bit upset at the moment.

This whole 'Coward Punch' stuff in the media is making me feel like public enemy number one. I understand that drunken idiots get into fights, but we're doing everything we can to stick to our RSA  obligations and in some ways we even surpass them.

Other owners are telling me that the numbers show alcohol-related violence is actually decreasing, so why all this fuss now?

What should I do to keep the violence out of my establishment?

Sincerely,

Duncan Rampidge

Dear Duncan,

I'm a bit busy getting my pre-drinks on for Australia Day, so I'm handing this over to my 6-year-old daughter, Emily.

Sincerely,
Kieran

Dear Duncan,

My name is Emily and I am six years old and I don't like fights because fights are sad and when fights are on the TV it's because people die but what about all the fights that aren't on TV like when the daddy next door hits the mummy next door and we had to call the police and they don't get on the TV because boys are dying on the streets and then I get sad because my friend got taken away when their mummy died and why are men afraid of people calling them cowards and I have to go now because I need to get my pre-drinks on for Australia Day.

Sincerely,
Emily.
