Man and boy in hospital after shock

A THREE-YEAR-OLD boy and a 40-year-old man were taken by ambulance to Ipswich Hospital after reports they received an electric shock from a power cord in Queens Park today.

The pair were initially treated on-site by St John's Ambulance members after reportedly receiving electrical shocks at about 1.30pm on Monday, April 9,  from a cord connected to a jumping castle.

The jumping castle was being operated as part of the Easter Monday Funday event, and organisers shut down all four jumping castles being operated by the company in question after the incident.
