Holiday weather: Here's what's in store for the weekend

After many parts of Ipswich received a good soaking during the week, the skies have cleared, with predictions of only a slight chance of a shower on Sunday.

The blue skies should mean plenty of picnics and barbecues will go ahead on this school holiday weekend.

Today is expected to be sunny with a cool start of 10 degrees, warming to 26 later in the day.

The same conditions are forecast for Saturday, although it will be slightly warmer with a top of 27C and light winds.

The clouds will move in on Sunday with a slight (20%) chance of a shower in the morning and afternoon. Light winds are also forecast for the day.
