High-tech holiday fun right here in Ipswich

Virtual reality, app technology and movie magic headline the upcoming summer holiday program at Ipswich Libraries.

Spokesman Councillor David Pahlke said the fun would start on Wednesday, continuing into January next year.

"We're always looking at new and exciting programs for young people and this year we've placed a particular focus on technology," he said. "The team from SteamPunx will present filmmaking workshops and we will also have cutting-edge virtual and augmented reality technology on board in the form of apps and gaming.

"Bookings are essential and I'd urge people to secure their spot as soon as possible as sessions always fill up very quickly."
