Riverview Festival

ENJOY this free community festival compete with rides, entertainment, market stalls and plenty of food to purchase. Events runs from 10am-3pm. Pre-purchase armbands for unlimited rides costs $25 and $30 if purchased on the day.

Young Model Discovery

WIN a trip to New York or Europe to meet with international model agents. This competition is open to entrants aged 5-19. Heat 1 will be held on Thursday from 5.30pm and Heat 2 will be held on Saturday from 10.30am with the semi-final fashion parade beginning at 12.30pm. Register at the event or collect forms from Centre Management.

Octonauts Live!

THE Australian-made live show, Octonauts Live! Operation Reef Shield, sees Captain Barnacles and his crew on a mission to save the Great Barrier Reef. When the Octonauts deploy an undersea medical station designed to keep the reef clean and healthy, they discover a problem that threatens the reef - crown of thorns starfish. Shows at 10.30am and 11.30am. The show lasts for 75 minutes with a 15 minute interval. Tickets cost $39.90, under 12 months are free.

Farm Fun Open Day

FARM Fun is open to the public once a month and offers families an authentic farm experience. Kids can feed the baby animals, visit the three-acre maze shaped like Peppa Pig, see a milking demonstration, play on the hay bales and tyre swings and take part in various activities on offer such as the popular egg and spoon race. Admission is $10 per person which includes a pony or trailer ride, under twos are free. Closed-in shoes must be worn. Facilities are cash only. Open 10am-2pm.

Dinosaur Discovery

KIDS will have the chance to become a palaeontologist for the day as they dig for dinosaur bones and fossils to take home with them. Daily workshops will be held at 10am, 10.35am, 11.10am, 11.45am and 12.20pm. Bookings are required.

Brick Kids Lego exhibition
