Helloworld plants the seeds to help grow Ipswich

COMMUNITY groups, sporting clubs and local charities will receive a much-needed boost, thanks to Helloworld Ipswich's new Seeds to Grow community donation program.

Helloworld Ipswich manager Suraj Arachchige said he felt proud to lead the program, which would see 1% of every travel booking go towards customers' nominated community cause.

"This means each time someone books their travel with Helloworld Ipswich City Mall, they are also supporting their local community," he said.

"Our aim is to find and support the unsung heroes rather than to big groups who always get the limelight.

"We hope people will develop a newfound appreciation for what goes on in their neck of the woods."

Mr Arachchige said he was looking for local groups to nominate for the Seeds to Grow program.
