Health officials issue a measles alert for Ipswich

WEST Moreton health officials have issued a measles alert following reports of an Ipswich resident diagnosed with the infectious illness last month.

Public health physician Dr Heidi Carroll said Ipswich residents need to be aware of particularly those who may have come into contact with the patient.

Health officials are contacting all people known to have come into close contact with the patient.
