Hazardous waste drop-off day today from 8am to 4pm

IPSWICH residents will be able to dispose of hazardous waste from their properties at a special collection day this weekend.

Ipswich City Council will host the household hazardous waste drop-off day today at the Riverview recycling and refuse centre from 8am to 4pm.

Ipswich residents will be able to take household chemicals and gas bottles to the Riverview Rd centre free of charge for disposal by council during this special scheduled drop-off day.

Household hazardous waste includes pool chemicals, cleaning products, batteries, tyres, electronic waste and unwanted medicines.
