Missing 12-year-old girl located safe and well

UPDATE: 12-year-old girl reported missing from Loganlea on October 4, located safe and well.

EARLIER: Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 12-year-old girl who was last seen in Loganlea on October 2.

The girl was last seen around 9am leaving an address on Bernice Street.

Police hold concerns for her welfare due to her age.

She is known to utilise public transport to travel to Brisbane City and surrounding suburbs. She is also known to frequent the Inala area.

She is described as aboriginal in appearance, slim build, approximately 158cm tall with shoulder length dark brown hair which is usually tied in a bun.

She was last seen wearing a black top and white leggings.
