Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 14-year-old girl reported missing from Ipswich on October 16.

She was last seen at 6.05pm in the Ipswich CBD.

The girl is described as Aboriginal in appearance, dark brown hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a red singlet and blue shorts.

If anyone has any information about the girl or knows of her whereabouts, they are encouraged to contact police.
