Happy Halloween: Wolf Creek trailer drops for season two

IF YOU are looking for a fright this Halloween, the latest trailer for Wolf Creek season two should do the trick.

Released today along with the series launch date of December 15, the clip shows John Jarratt back as psychopath serial killer Mick Taylor .

Jarratt said fans were set for a "smorgasboard" when the series returned to streaming service, Stan.

"There's a busload of tourists, they're from all over world - different nations and sexuality. There's something for everyone," he said.

In the first season, the tables were turned as a 19-year-old American tourist searched the Australian Outback for Mick in order to get revenge for the death of her family.

But in season two, Mick returns to the role of hunter after targeting a tour group he spots at a roadhouse.

The cast appearing alongside Jarratt includes Tess Haubrich (Alien: Covenant), Matt Day (Rake, Paper Giants, Underbelly, Kiss or Kill), Ben Oxenbould (Comedy Inc, The Kettering Incident, The Code), Laura Wheelwright (Animal Kingdom), Charlie Clausen (Home & Away) Stephen Hunter (The Hobbit, The Leftovers) and Chris Haywood (Shine, Muriel's Wedding).
