Green light for Greek restaurant in suburb

A NEW Greek Mediterranean restaurant has been approved to replace a commercial building in Springfield.

Ipswich Councillor Paul Tully said the restaurant would create new jobs and would be an exciting new addition to the already thriving area of Springfield.

"The applicant has proposed a seven-day-a-week restaurant that will employ up to nine staff," Cr Tully said.

"Springfield is a bustling suburb and a Greek Mediterranean restaurant will be an exciting new addition to the region."
