Family and friends unite to help after son's death

A GoFundMe page has been set up to support a Springfield Lakes family who lost their son and brother in a motorcyclist crash late last week.

Family friend Megan Goodall opened the account for the Maskell family after 18-year-old Jack died in the accident on Friday.

On her post Ms Goodall wrote:

"Brian, Amanda and Lily have lost their son, their brother and a part of their hearts, the beautiful and very well loved Jack.

"Family and friends are uniting and asking to donate funds to help with food, funeral costs or whatever may be needed.

"The Maskells are now and will forever be in our thoughts."

The account, which was created on Saturday, has so far raised $3,700 with a target of $5,000.

If you would like to leave a tribute to Jack or a message of support for his family, please feel free to do so in the comments below.
