Gladiators deny reigning premiers

GOODNA have continued their unbeaten charge in the Barber Cup competition.

Taking on the reigning premiers yesterday, the Gladiators held Caboolture to a draw at Kevin Kaeser Oval.

Down 10-5 at halftime, Goodna fought back against the home side to finish 17-17 and secure two competition points.

In Pegg Cup, Caboolture held onto a one point lead in the first half, before Goodna returned fire in the second, taking the game 29-11.

Goodna now sit in second and first on the Barber and Pegg Cup ladders.

The Ipswich Rangers had a bye.
