Giving no sample simply means 'guilty'

EVERY Monday, the QT publishes the names of drink and drug drivers who have appeared in Ipswich Magistrates Court over the past week.

BENJAMIN Jacob Summers pleaded guilty in Ipswich Magistrates Court for failing to provide a specimen of breath. The court heard Summers was pulled over on October 29, 2015 at Chelmsford Ave, Ipswich when the incident occurred. Summers also pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of suspected stolen property. He was fined $700 and disqualified from driving for six months.

LEONIE Gay Brook pleaded guilty in Ipswich Magistrates Court to drug driving on December 11, 2015 at Ipswich. The court heard Brook was pulled over on Brisbane St where she registered a positive result for methamphetamines. She was fined $600 and disqualified from driving for three months.

DEON Shane Conlon pleaded guilty in Ipswich Magistrates Court to drug driving on October 15, 2015 at Yamanto. The court heard Conlon was pulled over on Hall St where he registered a positive result for cannabis. He was fined $200 and disqualified from driving for one month.

DANNY Frederick Kimber pleaded guilty in Ipswich Magistrates Court to drug driving on December 15, 2015 at Woodend. The court heard Kimber was pulled over on Roseberry Pde where he returned a positive result for cannabis. He was fined $500 and disqualified from driving for one month.

ANNE Elizabeth Schmid pleaded guilty in Ipswich Magistrates Court to drug driving on November 25, 2015 at Gailes. The court heard Schmid was pulled over on Old Logan Rd where she returned a positive result for cannabis. She was fined $100 and disqualified from driving for one month.

TIMOTHY James Devin pleaded guilty in Ipswich Magistrates Court to drink driving on January 20, 2016 at East Ipswich. The court heard Devin was pulled over on Darling St where he failed a blood-alcohol test. He was fined $600 and disqualified from driving for three months.

BRASSALL woman Ellie Michelle Holman pleaded guilty in Ipswich Magistrates Court to failing to supply a specimen of breath for testing. The court heard Holman was pulled over near Longreach where the offence occurred. She was fined $800 and disqualified from driving for 12 months.

HAYDEN Paul Dwyer pleaded guilty in Ipswich Magistrates Court to drink driving on January 16, 2016 at Bellbird Park. The court heard Dwyer was pulled over on Redbank Plains Rd where he registered a mid-range blood-alcohol reading. He was fined $600 and disqualified from driving for three months.

MARK Leif Prosser pleaded guilty in Ipswich Magistrates Court to drink driving on December 20, 2015 at Boonah. The court heard Prosser was pulled over on Yeates Ave where he failed a roadside blood test. He was fined $800 and disqualified from driving for two months.

IPSWICH man Gary Robert Falconer pleaded guilty in Ipswich Magistrates Court to drink driving on December 5, 2015 at Mackenzie. The court heard Falconer was pulled over on the Gateway Motorway where he registered a mid-range blood-alcohol reading. He was fined $800 and disqualified from driving for three months.

SHARON Louise Jamieson pleaded guilty in Ipswich Magistrates Court to drink driving on January 15, 2016 at Fernvale. The court heard Jamieson was pulled over on Forest Hill-Fernvale Rd where she failed a roadside breath test. She was fined $450 and disqualified from driving for four months.

CRAIG Anthony Lord pleaded guilty in Ipswich Magistrates Court to drug driving on December 12, 2015 at Redbank. The court heard Lord was pulled over on Brisbane Tce where he registered a positive result for cannabis. He was fined $450 and disqualified from driving for two months.

JUSTIN Earle Leahy pleaded guilty in Ipswich Magistrates Court to drink driving on January 28, 2016 at Redbank. He also pleaded guilty to driving without a licence. The court heard Leahy was pulled over on Francis St at about 5.30pm where he registered a blood-alcohol reading of 0.108. He was fined $400 and disqualified from driving for five months
