Staff from the Gatton Star and friends finally bowed to the inevitable and took part in the Ice Bucket Challenge today.

The viral challenge which raises funds for Motor Neurone Disease (MND) finally made its way to the car park behind the Gatton Star office where four staff from the Star (Glenn Stephan, Claire Morris, Adam Roberts and Tom Threadingham) and one from BP (Anthony Miller) agreed to get drenched and risk hypothermia in a very good cause, much to the amusement of passers-by in the Gatton Supa IGA car park.

Unfortunately the moment of impact when the water hit heads was so shocking we decided to cut it from the video.

Either that or the person taking the video mucked up and turned the camera off when he thought he was turning it on and we missed the entire soaking.

A source close to the Gatton Star said the video operator, who cannot be named out of severe embarrassment, has been banished to Siberia for "re-education".
