GALLERY: Medieval Fair sees Ipswich Mall packed

THE Ipswich Mall became a medieval playground over the weekend as organisers staged the first Medieval Market and Fantasy Faire.

Organiser Cassandra Booth said she hoped the markets would become an annual event after an impressive turnout from participating groups and crowds.

The event featured a colourful mix of costume parades, a life-sized dragon model, sword fighting displays from Brisbane’s Prima Spada School of Fence, tribal dancers and an illusionist.
