Dogs and cats more than furry friends

WORD has come back from our readers, and the result is beyond doubt.

Ipswich people love their pets.

Last week, we asked our QT Facebook likers to send us a picture of their pets and to explain to us why they loved them so much.

 We received more than 30 comments and photos from pet fans eager to show off their furry friends.

The submitted pictures included all sort of pets, ranging from playful pooches to inquisitive cats, but it was the written responses that gave us a real chuckle.

It would appear that some of you have pets that support charities, while others have pets that enjoy to snuggle up around the TV for the latest Hollywood movie.

Of course, some of our Facebookers just love their pets because of that undying, unconditional love.
