Fun times for kids at Rosewood Show

EVERY effort was made to keep everyone happy at the Rosewood Show but the younger show-goers were especially well looked after.

The 2015 show spanned from Friday to yesterday and if anyone was disappointed, they must be impossible to please.

Steward Craig Christensen summed it up with, "Great show, great crowd, great weather".

"Probably the kiddie area was the highlight with the barn yard animals, the reptile show, Professor Wallace puppeteer," Mr Christensen said.

"We try to make sure all the kids are entertained and happy."

He said the special guest in the produce section was Minden farmer Geoff Frohloff's Ekka-winning 260kg pumpkin.

Horse events are always a highlight at Rosewood and this year was no different with ring events, rodeo and campdraft.

"We also had a dog jumping competition for the first time this year and I'm told the winner jumped nearly seven foot," Mr Christensen said.
