MULGOWIE'S Lina and Paul Molesworth gained very unique inspiration for the name of their new baby daughter, Noni Lake Elise.

Both Noni, who was born at Ipswich Hospital at 10.18am, on October 20, weighing 3.7kg, and her older brother Durian, are named after tropical fruit.

"We liked it because it was a bit different," mum Lina said.

"My husband is really intro tropical fruits and we grow them on our property."

Lina, who was originally from Sweden, said her family overseas couldn't wait to meet the newest addition to their family.

"We've been doing a lot of Skyping and getting a lot of Facebook updates," she said.

"We are all going over to Sweden next summer."
