LESS than three months after departing Melbourne City, Ivan Franjic has mutually terminated his contract with South Korean side Daegu FC.

The former Socceroo joined the K-League side in July on a two-year deal, but now the 30-year-old has revealed on social media that his stint has ended.

"I would like to say I have mutually terminated my contract with Daegu FC," Franjic wrote on Instagram.

Franjic played just two games in the top Korean league after almost 40 games for Melbourne City.

The full-back has featured 20 times for the Socceroos.
