Formula for pace on river

ROUND two of the Australian Formula Powerboats Grand Prix turned the Clarence River into a hot-paced raceway over the weekend as competitors powered into life.

In front of a well-behaved crowd that gathered at Memorial Park to watch proceedings, drivers put their feet flat on the floor in the quest to claim the fastest time.

Organisers were rewarded with clear weather over the weekend.

Geoff Bollins, 64, set the fastest time of the round.
