Former Rocky model Milissa goes Gaga at Oscars after party

At the start of her career Milissa Heath was strutting catwalks in Rockhampton.

Today the 36-year-old is in LA still recovering from attending a VIP post Oscars party next door to the theatre where the big event was all held.

Milissa was there supporting friends nominated for costume design for The Revenant and work on Mad Max: Fury Road.

While she didn't get to sit in the theatre for the awards she still spent the night with all the nominees friends and family at the VIP party at the Roosevelt.

There she still had the chance to rub shoulders with plenty of celebrities.

"When Lady Gaga walked in everyone was applauding and she teared up. It was really nice to see how humble she is," Milissa said.

"I was chatting to her three violinists from her orchestra and she just walked over and just started chatting like we had known each other forever."

Other highlight were posing for photos with "tiny" E! News presenter Giuliana Rancic and then chatting to Jennifer Lawrence's family who she said were all hilarious

"They get our Aussie humour," Milissa said.

Even losing her mobile phone didn't put a dampener on things, describing it as a fantastic night.

"It was just a brilliant night and I can confirm Tom Hardy is so much hotter in person."

Now based in Brisbane modelling and doing TV for Dally's (you might recognise her from the latest Coffee Club commercial) Milissa just shot the new advertising campaign for RACQ and Racing QLD.

Next she is looking at work on the new Thor Movie filming in the Gold Coast.

"It's all a bit exciting."
