SCHOOL leavers across the region have donned their best rags to attend their respective formals.

St Mary's Catholic College kicked off formal festivities on Wednesday at the Kingaroy RSL and Kingaroy State High School students pulled up in their fast cars at Kingaroy Town Hall last night.

And Nanango State High School students  also celebrated the end of an era at the school's hall last night.

To see the week out, Murgon State High School's year 12 students will have their formal at Murgon Town Hall from 6.15pm today.

For the region's full formal wrap-up, pick up a copy of Tuesday's paper.
