Flood repair works to start on Warrego Highway

FLOOD reconstruction works to repair damaged sections of the Warrego Hwy between Forest Hill and Plainland will begin early this month.

The works form part of the Warrego Hwy (Plainland to Helidon) project to repair damage caused by the 2013 flood.

The works will be carried out on the eastbound carriageway between Forest-Fernvale Rd and Leschke Rd.

The eastbound carriageway will be closed with traffic diverted to the westbound carriageway.

Speed limits through the contraflow site will be reduced to 60kmh and traffic controllers will be on site during working hours.

Works will generally be carried out Monday to Saturday between 6am and 6pm with occasional night works required.
