9.40am: FIREFIGHTERS are treating a man on top of a roof after an 8 metre fall.

The 63-year-old man was on a ladder accessing the highest roof of the Masonic Temple on Kent St when his ladder slipped away.

He fell about 8 metres to the next roof of the temple and is suspected to have sustained a shoulder injury. 

Firefighters have used an aerial ladder with platform to access and move the man. 

Reports indicate the man is the owner of the building.

9.30am: FIREFIGHTERS are using an aerial ladder to rescue a man who is believed to have fallen from the roof of a building and down a few floors inside a building.

Reports indicate the man is 65-years-old. His condition is unknown at this stage.

The incident took place at the Masonic Temple on Kent St.
