Fire crews rush to save Ipswich home from flames

UPDATE: Fire crews have extinguished a fire that broke out in a bedroom of a two-storey home at Dinmore this morning.

EARLIER: EMERGENCY services have rushed to a home on River Road in Dinmore after a fire broke out in an upstairs bedroom.

Fire crews got the call just before 12:30pm and three crews have been working to extinguish the blaze and stop the flames from spreading.

Two people were being assessed by paramedics at the scene but didn’t require any further treatment.

Investigations into the cause of the blaze are continuing.
