Figures prove Ipswich Art Gallery is a crowd winner

THE latest Ipswich Art Gallery attendance figures revealed 32,826 people visited the gallery in the July to September quarter.

Figures show that 60% of visitors to the gallery during this period were Ipswich residents, while 27% had travelled from Brisbane and 13% from elsewhere.

Satisfaction with the gallery remains high with 63% of surveyed visitors rating the gallery as excellent and 37% as very good or fairly good.

"That's 100% of visitors walking away from the gallery having really enjoyed the experience," Cr Pisasale said.
