Fears for elderly crash victim

POLICE hold grave fears for a 65-year-old man who crashed his car at a unit complex in Brassall this morning.

The man had just pulled out of the driveway of his home in Hayes St when he suffered what is thought to be a medical condition.

He lost control of his Ford Falcon sedan and hit a driveway and brick wall two units down from his own residence.

Paramedics rushed to the scene and worked on the man for at least half an hour before rushing him to Ipswich Hospital.

The full extent of his injuries is unknown, however the man is understood to be suffering serious pre-existing health problems.

The forensic crash unit is investigating the incident.
