Family offering reward for stolen sentimental rings
A MARYBOROUGH family is offering a $500 reward for honesty this Christmas after five sentimental rings were taken from the parent room at Stockland.
Moira Taylor and her daughter were shopping for teacher Christmas teacher presents at Stockland in Hervey Bay when she had a lapse in concentration which has cost her the loss of her jewellery.

Moira took her rings off to wash her hands in the parent room opposite Kmart and was distracted when her daughter got a fright from the loud noise of the hand dryer.
They left the bathroom in a hurry and didn't realise until they got home.
"I placed my rings on top of the wash basin," Moira said.
"Harper is scared of the loud noise the of the dryers," she said.
The rings (photographed) are white gold and include a wedding band and engagement ring with channel set princess cut (square) diamonds.
The engagement ring has a .5 carat centre stone with two side diamonds.
The distinctive engraved birth ring has 'Harper' engraved on it with two side diamonds.
Moira said she had to remove her rings due to her eczema.
"I walked out to get paper towel from the nappy changing area to dry Harper's hands after she got a fright and forgot to go back," Moira said.
Moira and her husband are hoping a mum, dad or grandparent have picked up the rings and will hand them in.
"I balled my eyes out when I found out they hadn't been handed into management," Moira said.

Police are investigating the incident and are yet to look at CCTV footage.
