Fallen power lines blamed for leaving hundreds without power

MORE than 800 customers were left without power this morning after power lines fell down at Junabee Rd.

A spokesman from Ergon Energy said 821 customers were without power from about 9.30am.

But as of 10.05am, the number of customers affected was reduced to one.

The spokesman said customers at Swanfels, Freestone, Hermitage, Yangan and Junabee were affected by the outage.

There is no estimated time for when the power will be put back on for the remaining customer.
