THIS year hasn't been the easiest for the Tonkin family.

Migrating from New Zealand just a couple of months ago, the Redbank Plains locals said the newest edition to their family had been a blessing.

"We named her Faith which is really fitting for us right now," mum Jo said.

"It's been stressful with the pregnancy and moving but we love it here."

Faith Tonkin was born on October 13, at 7.29am, weighing 3.968kg, and makes daughter number four for the Tonkin family.

Faith and her older sisters Chardae, Mercedes, and Billie-Rose, are already inseparable.

"We have a netball team now," dad and Ipswich City Council worker Glen joked.

"We had two scans. One said it was a boy and one said it was a girl so we didn't know until she was born.

"We've always said, you've just got to have Faith," Glen said.
