Extra motivation for Ipswich club winners

FORMER club champion and Australian representative Lynten Johnson was guest speaker at the latest Ipswich and District Athletic Club awards presentation.

Johnson still holds records at Ipswich Grammar School.

He represented Australia in long jump and the 4x100m relay at the 1988 World Junior Championships  in Canada.

The sprint sensation spoke about his achievements, inspiring the next generation of current Ipswich athletes.

He emphasised the message "Give it a go and never give up''.
