Electrical fault probable fire cause

A FIRE that burned down an ice factory in Boonah is believed to have been caused by an electrical malfunction.

Fire crews were called to the factory behind a petrol station on Church St, about 5am on Saturday.

The factory, which had been empty during the inferno, was destroyed.

Firefighters investigating the blaze believe it was caused by an electrical issue and are not treating it as suspicious.
