Elderly man suffers head injuries as car crashes into creek

A MAN in his 80s is in hospital with a head injury after crashing his car into a creek at Sarina.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said paramedics were called to help the older man at the private address at 7.56am.

"The vehicle has gone into a dry creek," he said.

He said the man was taken to Mackay Base Hospital in a stable condition.
