Driver hurt on Warrego Highway

A WOMAN has been injured in a traffic incident on the Warrego Highway near Karalee.

Police say initial reports suggest a wheel came off a passing truck and hit the woman's car about 2.20pm.

The woman's car came to rest on the median strip near the Bremer River bridge.

Paramedics are treating her for possible spinal injuries.

The truck has stopped at a weigh bridge further up the road.

Police are investigating.
