Driver crashes into park BBQ

A DRIVER is being treated after crashing into a park at Helidon, on the Warrego Highway west of Ipswich.

A spokesman from the Department of Community Safety said the 35-year-old man was vomiting after the crash.

It was not certain whether his illness was the cause of the incident, in which the man's car veered off the road and slammed into a park barbecue about 7am Wednesday morning.

Police and the Queensland Ambulance Service were at the scene.

There was nobody else in the car at the time.
