Driver charged after crashing car into guard rail

A MAN was charged with driving under the influence overnight after he crashed his car into the guard on Boonah Fassifern Rd, Fassifern Valley.

Queensland Ambulance Service was called at 6.10pm to treat the man who refused and tried to leave the scene.

Police blocked one lane of the roadway for two hours while the hazard was cleared.
