QT's name and shame: This week's drink drivers

EVERY week The QT publishes the names of drink-drivers who have been in court in Ipswich over the past week.

 

Counselling a condition of driver's probation

ADAM Jasper, 39, pleaded guilty at Ipswich Magistrates Court to driving over the general alcohol limit in Brassall on July 8 while court disqualified. He was disqualified from driving for two years and three months and placed on a probation order of 18 months for both charges. During his probation he must attend psychological counselling.

 

Restricted licence for three months

RAMOS Teddy Arrue, 41, pleaded guilty to driving over the general alcohol limit in North Ipswich on July 19. He was fined $600 and put on a restricted licence for three months.

 

Disqualified and fined $600

KANJANA Clymo, 36, pleaded guilty to driving over the general alcohol limit in Collingwood Park on August 25. He was fined $600 and disqualified from holding a driver's licence for three months.

 

Restricted licence and $700 fine

RICHARD Paul Griffin, 41, pleaded guilty to driving over the general alcohol limit in Goodna on August 21. He was fined $700 and placed on a restricted driver's licence for three months.

 

Failed to provide breath or blood specimen

HELLEN Ayan Bol Manour, 40, pleaded guilty to one count of failing to provide a specimen of breath or blood when in Ipswich on September 20. She was fined $500 and disqualified from holding a driver's licence for six months.

 

Banned for 12 months and fined $900

JULIAN Darren Creighton, 50, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol in Boonah on October 5. He was fined $900 and disqualified from holding a driver's licence for 12 months.

 

Unlicensed driver was over the limit

IAIN William Lees, 23, pleaded guilty to driving over the general alcohol limit while unlicensed in Springfield on September 28. He was fined $1200 and disqualified for three months.

 

Fined $500 and placed on restricted licence

AMY Elizabeth Smith, 23, pleaded guilty to driving over the general alcohol limit in Bellbird Park on September 16. She was fined $500 and placed on a restricted driver's licence for two months.

 

Banned from holding licence for three months

CHRISTOPHER Charles Austin, 23, pleaded guilty to driving over the zero alcohol limit while on a restricted licence in Redbank Plains on October 1. He was fined $350 and disqualified from holding a driver's licence for three months.

 

Disqualified and must pay an $800 fine

BENNETTE William Barclay, 29, pleaded guilty to driving over the general alcohol limit in Fernvale on March 31. He was fined $800 and disqualified from holding a driver's licence for three months.

 

Driver off the road for nine months

MARCOS Gambi Correia, 44, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence in Riverview on October 5. He was fined $800 and disqualified from holding a driver's licence for nine months.

 

Driver hit with $1000 fine and three-month ban

DALE Anthony Biltoft, 28, pleaded guilty to driving over the middle alcohol limit in East Ipswich on September 20. He was disqualified from holding a driver's licence for three months and fined $1000.
