Get dready for scary night out

MORE Ipswich locals are getting into the Halloween spirit this year, leaving many parents looking for ways to keep the kids entertained.

This weekend, Spotlight West Ipswich is offering some free family fun with their Halloween Party.

Store manager Sandra O'Connell encouraged attendees of all ages to dress in their most scary outfits for the occasion.

"We'll have face painting, the kids will get balloons, we'll be handing out lollies and we'll run some best dressed competitions on the day as well," she said.

"Halloween is getting bigger every year. We've got costumes, lollies, decorations - we really are a one-stop-shop for everything people might need.

"The party is free to attend and is designed to get people into the spirit of the day.

"Even though it's not an Australian tradition, Halloween is a great opportunity for people to have fun."

The Spotlight Halloween Party will be held at the store located at 339 Brisbane St, West Ipswich, from 11am-3pm on Saturday.

The store is also offering shoppers 25% off all Halloween products until Sunday.

For further information, phone the store on 38170100.
