Don’t fall for Labor’s false motorway promises
SHAYNE Neumann and Bill Shorten arrived last week crowing that if elected in the July Election they would immediately give $200 million to upgrade the Darra to Rocklea section of the Ipswich Motorway.
Unfortunately they very conveniently forgot that Kevin Rudd took the previously promised funds for this work and gave it to North Queensland to flood-proof the Bruce Highway, which never happened.
Voters should note Labor's perception that the average voter has a very short memory.
Treat us like fools at your own peril.
