Migrants, refugees can now read domestic violence plan

WOMEN from non-English speaking backgrounds can now access translated versions of Australia's plans to reduce domestic violence.

The second action plan is available online in 12 languages other than English, including several Middle Eastern and Asian languages.

Minister Assisting the Prime Minister for Women Senator Michaelia Cash said it was important to make the information available for female migrants, refugees and international students.

The guides include information about women's rights in Australia and how to get more information to escape domestic violence and where help is available.
