Dog bites woman on Christmas

A WOMAN has suffered a hand injury after being bitten by a dog on Christmas Day.

The 43-year-old was taken to Ipswich Hospital yesterday afternoon in a stable condition.

Paramedics were called to a home on Lukritzs Rd in Tarampa, outside of Lowood, after the dog bite was reported at 3.56pm.

The breed of dog is yet to be confirmed.
