Delays as truck carrying load of vacuum cleaners overturns

POLICE and Queensland Transport are investigating the cause of a truck rollover that has delayed traffic on the Cunningham Highway south of Ipswich.

The truck, which was carrying a load of vacuum cleaners, crashed at Aratula about 4.50am Thursday.

There were no other vehicles involved.

The driver was treated for minor head injuries at Ipswich Hospital.

Police said the highway was likely to remain partially blocked for several hours this morning.
