Darryl will spread the love
THANK goodness this weekend's Ipswich SuperSprint event at Queensland Raceway will be run over three consecutive days, otherwise Yamanto's Darryl Harch would have faced a major dilemma.
Darryl was the lucky winner of our SuperSprint competition and as such was handed a double pass for each day.
Who he will be taking on those three days has already been established as he has three sons who have all put their hands up.
"It could have been difficult for me if it was just two days, but now each son can have his turn," he said.
Three is the lucky number for Darryl because that's also the number of entries he put in for the competition.
The competition attracted 700 entries making it the most popular contest the paper has run this year.
As well as winning three day double passes Darryl will also get to experience a pit lane garage tour with a supercar team.
"I have won some small prizes over the years, but this is one of the best," he said.
"I love my motorsport and actually race karts on a regular basis at Willowbank and Gatton."
