Fire crew rescue man from platform after fall off ladder

EMERGENCY crews have rescued a man after he fell from a ladder onto a platform in Darra this morning.

The Queensland Ambulance Service and Queensland Fire Service both received calls just after 9.30am to rescue the 38-year-old man, after he fell six metres onto a platform in Valance St.

Firefighters were able to bring the man down by using rescue straps.

He was transported to the Princess Alexandria Hospital with neck injuries.
